报告摘要：There is a need to switch from fossil fuels to sustainable fuels, with little or no net carbon footprint.  Among these sustainable energy sources biofuels will play an important role.  However, production of the required biomass must be done without adversely affecting food production.  In addition, methods for conversion of biomass into biofuels can still be improved.
